Many young people in their teens and twenties have enjoyed working with James, Elizabeth and Joyful Kids Ministries through the years… and have been challenged, encouraged and stretched, as they not only ministered to children and their families, but found that they grew and learned as well.

As has been stated by one teacher: “I thought I came here to teach, but I think I am learning more than I am teaching.”

If you are interested in volunteering with Joyful Kids - please send us an e-mail via the contact form, and put “volunteer application” in the subject line, and we will send you an application via e-mail, so that you can be informed of any upcoming children’s programs.

We request that applicants be at least 14 years of age, have a Christian testimony, a teachable attitude and a desire to minister with a joyful heart.

“I see working with the teachers who volunteer with Joyful Kids as being an opportunity for discipleship. They are here not only to teach and serve, but also to learn and grow… My desire is to not just teach them how to teach - but to inspire them to a deeper walk with the Savior, and be there for them as I am able. By the end of the week we are like a family, and enjoy friendships that last long after the conference is over.”
